If you can't get out of it, get into it! The picture above is from February 2018 at the end of my first winter run in Minnesota. In the years since moving here, I have found winter to be undeniable. I've been getting into it slowly, but this year I'm going fully immersive by jumping into a frozen lake. It's part of my personal mission to continue pushing my comfort zone. Only, it's not just about me. I'll be freezin' for a reason in support of the Special Olympics. I am excited to promote inclusive programming that helps young people be active!
