Hi everyone! Each year that I have been with Delta I have had the amazing opportunity to participate in the Polar Plunge with the Delta Frozen Flyers, jumping into a frozen Minnesota lake to raise money to provide training, health screenings and other vital services for individuals with different abilities to participate in the Special Olympics... It has become an event that I look forward to all year round, meeting with so many amazing Delta employees and their families and friends to bond and eventually take the plunge together. Unfortunately two years ago, due to the COVID-19 pandemic, most of us weren't able to participate in-person and instead were encouraged to submit virtual homemade plunge videos. But in a month we will be back plunging in person again! And it is even more special since we have become the official airline of Team USA at the Olympics for at least the next 7 years. Of course the fundraising has always been the most important part of this event, and in 2020, as the Delta Frozen Flyers, we were even able to shatter our previous fundraising record and come out on top as the #1 Large Corporation in terms of funds raised. So this year I am humbly asking you all again to kindly consider donating to my or any one of my colleagues campaigns to help support the Special Olympics in all they do for those with different abilities.
