Thank you for checking out my Polar Plunge page. This is plunge 15. Not sure how much longer I can do this. I guess as long as I have good health, why not. I do this for Lloyd a brother of my best friend growing up. Lloyd had Downs syndrome and never had the chance to take part in sports. He loved baseball. Every where he went in the summer he had his bat, ball and glove with him. One year my dad who coached a mens softball team gave Lloyd a jersey and hat like we had. Lloyd was in 7th heaven. Lloyd would have loved to be a Special Olympics participant. Because of Lloyd, I raise money for Special Olympics to give people who are intellectually challenged a chance to participate in sports. Yes, I plug my nose when I jump into the water.
