Plunging again this year to Support Inclusion in Minnesota in the name of my own Future Special Olympian, Sullivan Mick. Sully has a rare genetic condition called Usher Syndrome 2A and has sensorineural hearing loss and will slowly lose his vision starting in adolescence. As devastating as this is for a parent to digest, what is more heartbreaking is that the government systems in place to protect him and others with disabilities are being dismantled and destroyed. Special Olympics Minnesota is fighting for inclusion and create a world that accepts and welcomes every single person regardless of ability or disability.
