Im participating in the Polar Plunge this year as part of Team Starkey. According to Special Olympics International, 30,000 Special Olympics athletes report some degree of difficulty with hearing, and yet many do not even get a hearing test. I am taking the plunge to help raise awareness for the importance of hearing as a vital human sense. Every dollar raised goes directly to Special Olympics Minnesota.
